Antigua Casa Haiku (www.antiguacasahaiku.org):
Antigua casa haiku is an arts and cultural space located in Barcelona`s Gracia neighborhood, that embraces a free and unprejudiced point of view on the art world.
By supporting creators , establishing a network between the culture and media world, and taking full advantage of new social movements and trends, antigua casa haiku aims to establish itself as a powerful presence in the ever changing international art scene.
Hangar (www.hangar.org):
Hangar is a centre for art research and production, offering support to artists.
Hangar’s mission is to support the visual artists and creators during the different phases of their art production processes as well as to contribute to the best development of their projects. For doing so, Hangar facilitates them equipments, facilities, production assistance and a suitable context for experimentation and free knowledge transfer.
La Escocesa (www.laescocesa.org):
La Escocesa is a self-managed artistic production centre that focuses on the visual arts with the public in mind. It aims to offer resident creators and collectives a series of different spaces at affordable prices (work spaces, a multipurpose hall, material for production, promotion and international exchange) to foster their professional development and assist them in their artistic career.
Niu (www.niubcn.com):
Niu is a arts center located in the Poblenou dictrict of Barcelona. They produce, show and spread multimedia and audiovisual creations, digital art and independent contemporanean music. The study material, creation and exhibition ist the audivisual culture derivated from the rising digital technology in the world of the art, design and communication.
Centre artístic Sant Lluc (www.santlluc.cat):
Entity located in Ciutat Vella (Old town) that offers space for making drawings, paintings, sculptures and engravings. There are three studios with models that change every week: the study of fixed pose, the notes and the sculpture one. Furthermore, there are also the studios of still life, engraving and portrait. It has two exhibition rooms where you can display your work, either collectively or solo. Each year there is a Social Collective and a Drawing Award, with cash prizes and an exhibition of works on paper. The library has more than 3000 books and the bar room is a nice place to gathering.
